We have been applying primer to the walls for days. If I had a time machine, I would go back and suggest to whomever decides housing trends that dark wood paneling might not be a good idea. On the bright side, the whole place looks a lot, um, brighter.
RnT can no longer stand for Root 'n Toot. We are now deeming him Roll 'n Tumble. Yesterday, he pushed himself up to a seated position. And he is very, very close to a full crawl. He has definitely mastered the flop and ooch.
Having a big brother is proving helpful. RnT is happy whenever his elder is around, and SK has gotten good at keeping his little brother supplied with toys and laughs. It is so cool to watch them enjoying each other.
KiSA and I explored the back yard more fully yesterday evening. We found 20 live trees, two dead trees, a magnolia sapling that's going to a new home, too many shrubs to count, and some berry bushes. We dreamed about where to put a workshop, compost pile, garden, and maybe a fort with a rope bridge and a zip line. I attacked some of the overgrown ivy on the screened in porch. I can't wait to get my gardening tools and get to work!
KiSA really likes his job. They are approaching a deadline on a big project, so he is going in early and taking short lunches. I am so proud of him.
Sorry no pictures on this one. It takes a long time to upload and I'm a little scrunched on time. But stay tuned--I've got some really cute ones on the way.
